What makes Bermuda truly special is its people for sure- and the connectivity and collaboration that naturally comes from working in such a close-knit environment. Bermuda brings together actuaries from across the globe, and the island’s size fosters a strong sense of community—we see each other frequently, both in and outside of work, and that closeness builds trust and often turns colleagues into friends. Networking and strong communication skills are essential. While our work is highly technical, success depends on our ability to explain analyses clearly to a wide range of audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
