What I enjoy most is how connected the actuarial community is. Even as a student, I have had opportunities to network, attend industry events, and contribute meaningfully through my involvement with the Actuaries of Bermuda. Bermuda offers a front-row seat to the global reinsurance market, and it is exciting to grow professionally in such a high-impact environment. I would like the A.O.B. to continue being a strong support system for students pursuing the actuarial pathway. I hope we can expand peer-led study groups and shared resources, including informal check-ins that acknowledge the demands of this journey. I also want the A.O.B. to be a clear voice for students within the industry—helping employers better understand both the challenges and strengths of student actuaries.
